How It Works
Custom Small Group Courses
We don't do crowded, impersonal classes. To ensure every student receives the exact focus and safety oversight required for a national certification, we run these courses on a small-group model.
To ensure strict safety and personalized focus, classes are capped at 4 shooters. If your group is less than 4 people, you may be combined with other pending shooters to complete the roster.

Step 1: Submit an Application
Fill out the application below and provide a few preferred dates for your class. We require a minimum of one week's notice to properly schedule and prepare for a certification course.
Step 2: Review & Confirmation
Chris will personally review your application. Once approved, we will reach out to confirm your exact dates on the range
Step 3: Secure with Payment
After your dates are confirmed, payment is required to officially lock in your training.

CCW & NRA FAQs
"Montana is a Constitutional Carry state. Why should I take the formal CCW Certification?"
While Montana allows permitless carry, carrying a defensive firearm is a massive liability without proper training. The NRA CCW Certification provides critical education on the legalities, mindset, situational awareness, and mechanics of carrying daily. Furthermore, holding a formal CCW permit offers reciprocity, allowing you to legally carry in many other states when you travel.
"I'm applying by myself. Will my class be canceled if we don't get exactly 4 people?"
No. We require a minimum of two shooters to run a certification course. If you apply as an individual, we will hold your application and group you with other pending shooters to build a complete roster before confirming your range day.
"What do I need to bring to the range for my certification?"
You are welcome to bring the firearm that you are interested in learning to shoot or planning to carry. You will also need appropriate eye and ear protection, and reliable ammunition. For CCW and Defensive classes, a safe, proper-fitting holster is required. Once your application is approved, we will provide an exact gear list based on your specific certification.
"I don’t own a firearm yet. Can I still take a certification class?"
Absolutely. If you don’t have a gun yet, or if you don’t know what caliber you want to shoot or carry, C2 can help you determine what gun best fits your exact needs before you make a purchase.
"How far in advance do I need to request my class dates?"
We require at least one week (7 days) of notice to properly schedule, group rosters, and prepare for a certification course. If you are under a strict deadline and need your certification faster, rush courses can be accommodated for an additional fee, entirely subject to Coach Chris's availability and approval.
"What is your policy if I need to cancel or change my confirmed dates?"
Classes are non-refundable. However, if you are unable to attend your confirmed class and provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice, you can reschedule to another class or apply the $350 value to any other C2FFST training session you'd like to participate in.
